January 2012 - The trailer for Pictures of Superheroes has been released! Stay tuned for more information on upcoming screenings!

April 2011 - Our short film The Reshoots (part one of Love, Lies, and Video Files) has been selected for the 2011 Sonoma Film Festival. It will play in Shorts Program 3, April 8th at 6:30pm in the "New Belgium Lounge at the Community Center," which we assume means "fancy wine place."

January 2011 - Jollyville Pictures has begun work on its newest FEATURE LENGTH film,Pictures of Superheroes. The film is written and directed by Don Swaynos, is produced by Tate English and Kelly Williams, and stars Austin comedy heroes Kerri Lendo, John Merriman, and Shannon McCormick. Immediately after we finish shooting, Don will start work producing Mark Potts' newest film A Splice of Life. Look for both films this summer!

August 2010 - The newest episode of our web series Love, Lies, and Video Files is now available in the films section!

August 2010 - We have completely revamped JollyvillePictures.com! Stay tuned to this site for our latest videos, news about upcoming productions, and if our NEA grant comes through, free candy!

August 2010 - our friend T. Lynn Mikeska (The Ballad of Friday and June, Love, Lies, and Video Files) is currently in Oxford, Mississippi shooting a feature-length film. For news about the production, check out the production blog for Where I Begin!
